We will need volunteers for line judges, scorebook, and scoreboard for each home game (including Rhema). We will also need volunteers to take gate fees, announce, and help with concessions for our home games at ILCA. Please consider volunteering! Click HERE to sign up in SignUp Genius. Match Highlights

Our ILCA Lady Cru had a great first game against defending State Champions Gospel Light out of Hot Springs, AK at the HCAA Tournament on Friday, October 11.
.
Alison Penka started with a stream of great serves, including an ace. As the Lady Lions set and hit, the Lady Cru shut them down with blocks, 3 by Emme Conway and 2 by Jaycee McCrate. The Lady Lions adjusted and went to a pushover instead of hitting, and the Lady Cru responded with some hits of their own. Conway set McCrate for 2 hits, and each had a hit of their own, as well as a hit by Penka off a pass by Kaytlyn Flemming, Kyah Braun, and Maggie Pilkington. As the Lions began to block, McCrate and Conway had tipovers to score. In the second set, the Lions served with great success, taking an early lead. Kyah Braun and Rori Gonzales each had an ace serve of their own, and Hayley Hughes had a dig that Conway was able to tip over. Despite the great effort and team play by the Lady Cru, the Lady Lions won both sets 14-25 and 16-25.
.
In the 2nd game of the HCAA tournament, Lady Cru take on Garrett Memorial, from Hope, AK. The first set was a close one with 3 ace serves by Penka, a block, push over and ace by Conway, Ace by Flemming and McCrate, a tip over by McCrate and a set to McCrate by Conway for a tip over. Our Lady Cru took an early lead but GM came back to win the first set 24-26. In the 2nd, Braun led the team in aces with 3, Natalie O'Brock had 1 and several team plays with passes or sets to tips or hits. Among these were McCrate to Braun, Braun to McCrate for a back row hit, Braun to Conway, and Conway to O'Brock. Despite good team play, Garrett won the 2nd set and game 14-25.
.
In the 3rd game, our Lady Cru faced Family of Faith. Again, several great rallies and plays by our Lady Cru. Conway had a great game with 3 tip overs, a push over, 2 diving bump overs and 3 aces. Flemming set McCrate for hit, Conway set or passed to McCrate for a hit or push over and McCrate showed up to serve 5 aces. O'Brock passes to McCrate for a push over and has a bump over of her own. Flemming served 3 aces, Penka had 2 and Maggie Pilkington and Braun each had 1. McCrate sets Pilkington for a hit for a point and passes to Penka, Gonzales and Braun who each score with a bump, push and tip over. Penka works hard to keep the Lady Cru in the match and they win the 2nd set 25-18 but Family of Faith win the 1st and 3rd sets, 16-25 and 14-16, winning the match.
.
In their final game if the HCAA tournament, the Lady Cru played the first seed of the opposite bracket, Liberty Christian. Liberty came out with strong servers and built quite a lead. Braun had a hit and the Lady Cry had a few good rallies. Conway had a couple aces and a hit and McCrate worked to break the serve, make good passes, had a couple aces and a hit. It wasnt enough and Libery won both sets and the game.
.
Jaycee McCrate and Alison Penka were named to the All-State Team, and Penka also was named to the All-Tournament Team!!! Way to go!
