We will need volunteers for line judges, scorebook, and scoreboard for each home game (including Rhema). We will also need volunteers to take gate fees, announce, and help with concessions for our home games at ILCA. Please consider volunteering! Click HERE  to sign up in SignUp Genius.

Match Highlights - 2025 Season

Lady Cru High School Volleyball played in Tulsa for the HCAA 1A division Championship, where they made it to the semi-finals. In pool play, Lady Cru played well against Liberty and made them earn every point they got. Liberty was victorious after 3 sets. Lady Cru then won over Central Baptist, winning 3 of 3 sets. In the first game against Liberty, McCrate came out with 8 points, including 2 Aces. She also had two spikes and 4 digs. Penka put up 4 points, two from ace serves, and Braun and Queen each knocked down 2 points. Queen had two aces while Nienhuis snuck in an ace serve. In the 2nd game, Nienhuis & Gray scored 14 points each with 13 & 12 ace serves to Central. Benzel stepped up to the serve line against Central with 10 ace serves. Lady Cru was matched up with The Cross for the quarterfinal after being seeded 2nd in their pool. Queen and McCrate each put up 10 points, McCrate with 7 aces and Queen with 5. Braun served up nine aces and had 3 assists, Nienhuis put up 3 points, Gray added 2, and Penka snuck in an ace serve. Lady Cru went on to the semi-finals, where they faced Tyro Christian. Lady Cru won the 1st set 25-17; however, Tyro came back to win the 2nd & 3rd sets. McCrate knocked down 13 points, including 4 ace serves. Braun & Penka each put up 6 points, Penka with six ace serves and Braun with 3. Nienhuis added 5 points to the Lady Cru tally with 3 aces of her own, and Gray, who also had 3 aces, had 4 points. Queen had 2 points, 4 assists, and 4 digs. Fleming had two great digs, as did Nienhius. Pilkington, Braun, and Penka also had 3 digs each, while Queen had 4 assists and Pilkington 3. Penka was awarded a medal for the all-tournament team, and McCrate was named to the All-State Team! Great job, Lady Cru!!!! A great finish on a great season!
