Heather Jones

Heather Jones will serve as our 2nd grade teacher. She and Ben have been married for 13 years. They have 3 children: James-12, Billy-10 and Adelina-7 (almost 8, she’d want me to throw that in). James and Billy are biological, and Adelina was adopted from Kyrgyzstan when she was one month shy of three. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Dallas Baptist University and is certified EC-8th, as well as ESL, in Texas and Oklahoma. She previously taught at Broken Arrow Schools as a kindergarten teacher for 2 years after being out of the classroom to raise her children. She looks forward to teaching at ILCA and guiding her students in a love of learning and the Lord.
