Welcome to Summer Camp!
Hi Everyone,
.
I have set up a summer camp parent group email for weekly information, pictures, and announcements. We plan on only using the email feature only for bulk group information. If you need to reach either me or Stephanie, please email us individually, not on this platform. Sincerely, Katherine Hipskind.

Learning NEVER stops, so there are plenty of opportunities each day for young minds to grow. Occasionally, inclement weather will necessitate the cancellation of outside activities and/or trips. Our staff plans for these with fun indoor games, movie days, and other fun activities. Our staff is First Aid and CPR certified.

Week 2 Info - Monday, June 1st
Good Afternoon Parents,
.
We had a great first week of camp; everyone seemed to have a good time. Campers did a great job having sunscreen, water, and swimsuits. Thank you all!
.
First off, there have been some questions regarding tomorrow's activities, and I wanted to clarify the schedule for the day. In the afternoon after lunch (around 12:45-1:00) we are planning to go to the neighborhood playground. We will return to campus around 3:00. If inclement weather occurs (this is Oklahoma), we will plan on watching a movie on-campus instead.
.
This next week we are going on our field trip to the zoo! We will plan to load the bus for departure at 9:15. Please make sure your campers have a lunch, sunscreen and an old water bottle ( that may get lost or left behind
) Since we will be wearing our camp t-shirts to the zoo, please send your camper that day in a top and bottoms, instead of a dress or overalls, and comfortable shoes. We plan to return to campus by around 3:00.
.
Other fun activities next week include: Band with Mr. Strauss, Science with our friends from OSU Extension, and swimming at the neighborhood pool on Friday. We will walk to the pool and from 1:00 to 3:00, campers will swim. Then we will head back to school.
.
Next week campers will need to have every day:
-
Water bottle
-
Lunch
-
Sunscreen
-
Towel
-
Swimsuit/Change of clothes that can get wet (except on Tuesday)
.
As it gets hotter outside, we will have more opportunities to play in the sprinklers and do other water activities. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me or Stephanie Hipskind (shipskind@icaba.org) directly.
.
Blessings,
Katherine Hipskind
