Summer Camp 2023
Learning NEVER stops, so there are plenty of opportunities each day for young minds to grow. Occasionally, inclement weather will necessitate the cancellation of outside activities and/or trips. Our staff plans for these with fun indoor games, movie days, and other fun activities. Our staff is First Aid and CPR certified.

Last Day of Camp Info
Hi Parents,

Week 10 - Monday,July 31st Last week of camp
I can’t believe it’s the last week of camp! This past week the campers had so much fun playing in the water. They went to the pool for the last time and had two sprinkler days to keep cool. We also had Yoga, Drum clinic with Mr. Risner, and an incredible visit to Incredible Pizza. 😊
Next week will be another hot one, so I plan for campers to have water play every day. Campers will also have ASL with Mrs. McCrate and Science with Mrs. Hendricks.
On Wednesday, campers will go to Camp Lutherhoma. We must leave at 8:30; please make sure your campers are on time. They will need a Disposable lunch, Water bottle, Swimsuit, Towel, and Sunscreen. I have attached the schedule for our trip. Click HERE
General reminder - Things to bring each week to camp: water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, water shoes, lunch/snack, and book. Every day we use most, if not all, of these items. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you so much for sharing your campers with me this summer. I have really enjoyed spending time with and getting to know all of them. Enjoy the rest of your summer, and have a great new school year.

Week 9 - Monday July 24th
Hi Parents,
We had another great week of camp. Only two more to go!
Campers had fun swimming at the pool this past week and creating water works of Art with chalk on sprinkler-watered sidewalks. The Traveling Barnyard was a big hit where campers held/pet numerous animals, including bunnies and chicks. Science with Mrs. H included Lego Gummy Osmosis, Jelly Bean building, and Play-doh creations, probably the best science unit of the summer; everyone was engaged and had fun! Pictures are uploaded on the website for the week (click HERE), but there was a hiccup with Thursday's science images, so I am sharing the folder for pictures. Click HERE.
Wednesday’s Field trip will be to an all-time favorite, Incredible Pizza. Other weekly activities will include our last trip to the swimming pool and last time stretching with yoga.
Things to bring each week to camp: water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, water shoes, lunch/snack, and book. Every day we use most, if not all, of these items. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Blessings,

Week 8 - Monday July 17th
Hi Parents,
Last week was busy for Campers. The Discovery Lab and the extra water day on Thursday were a huge hit. For science, students could choose to design the Big Dipper, create a Da Vinci pencil bridge, “stretch” a notecard, or build/stand with cups. Interestingly, students also decided to build a ball coaster, bejewel themselves with “pretties,” or join Optimus Prime with boxes. I think the boxes were the biggest hit, lol. Students also relaxed with yoga. Click HERE for pictures.
This week will be another hot one; please be sure your camper has a swimsuit and towel daily.
Campers will be on campus all week. We will have a water day on Wednesday when
the Traveling Barnyard comes to school. We are still planning to walk to the pool on Tuesday and have science with Mrs. Hendricks on Thursday.
Things to bring each week to camp: water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, water shoes, lunch/snack, and book. Every day we use most, if not all, of these items. Speaking of sunscreen, we have several unclaimed bottles. If one is yours, please let us know so we can tag it with your child(ren)’s name.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Wednesday Zoo Field Trip detatils
Hi Everyone,
Super excited about our trip to the Tulsa Zoo tomorrow. We will leave after chapel at 9:30 am and return by 3:30 pm. Campers will need sunscreen, disposable water and lunch.
We are mindful that summer heat is upon us. The Zoo has misting stations and cool indoor areas where campers can coof off when needed. If you want to send a water bottle from home, we suggest an older bottle that if misplaced/lost, won't be missed.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns,
Stephanie and Ginger
