NLSW and Coin Chaos!

National Lutheran Schools Week Celebration

Next week is National Lutheran Schools Week, one of our favorite weeks of the year!  As a service project this week, we will be doing a competitive Coin Chaos collection to raise money for Lutheran Bible Translators, a wonderful organization that helps create written languages for cultures that have none and then translates the Bible into their “heart language” so they can best understand the Gospel.  For more information, watch this excellent short video from the organization Lutheran Bible Translators. Introduction. The class group that raises the most funds will receive an additional Spirit Wear Day after spring break!  Both coins and bills are accepted and can be brought to school Monday-Thursday next week.  Winners will be announced at chapel on Friday!

Each day of NLSW includes special devotion times, Crusader Crew activities, class presentations, and dress-up days celebrating our school. We will kick off the week worshipping with our Immanuel Lutheran Church family Sunday, March 8 at 9:00 with musical leadership by our Crusader Choir, and end with All-School Chapel Friday at 8:45 as well as treats provided by our student council.  We hope you can join us for either worship service!
