Mueller’s Musings
Dear Immanuel,
Immanuel’s 2021 volleyball seasons are complete. The middle school squad, who finished the regular season ranked second in Class 2A of the HCAA conference, placed third at the state meet at Wright Christian last weekend. It is the best finish our volleyball team has ever had in the history of our school! While each of our athletes played hard, two, in particular, performed exceptionally well. 8th grader Jaycee McCrate and 7th grader Mya Buzzard were named to the All-Tournament team.
The high school squad finished off their season with the state tournament in Fort Smith, Arkansas yesterday. The results were not available at press time.
This weekend, the state cross country meet will take place on the campus of John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas where our elementary, middle and high school athletes will all be competing. Highlighting the meet will be 8th grader Meg Andresen who will look to complete her storied legacy as a phenomenal junior high cross country athlete for Immanuel.
We look forward to keeping you updated on the exciting news to come! There’s no need to wait until next Sunday, however. Follow us on Facebook – “Immanuel Crusader Athletics.”
God’s blessings to you and go CRU!
