Immanuel Fine Arts Academy Policies and Calendar 2020 – 21
Tuition
IFAA tuition is due monthly by the first lesson of each month. You may turn it in anytime in the school office. You may pay by cash or by check made out to ILCA. Please put IFAA and your student’s name in the memo. We will accept payment for the entire semester up front if you prefer. Non-ILCA students may send tuition to their student’s class or lesson if unable to drop off during school hours. Tuition is the same each month, therefore you will not be charged extra for 5 week months or less for 3 week months caused by holidays
Attendance and Cancellations
If you need to cancel a private lesson, please give 24 hours notice to Rebecca Winston so teachers can adjust their schedules if necessary. One makeup lesson or class is allowed per semester for an excused absence when proper notification has been given. Makeup lessons/classes will be held at the end of the semester.
No refunds will be given for missed classes or early withdrawal within the month. We hire our instructors based on enrollment, so once a month’s tuition has been paid, that payment is non-refundable.
Pick Up
School aged students should be picked up immediately following their class at the Luther Hall/Gym entrance to the school (northwest corner of the building). A staff member will be there to escort younger students from the classroom to the exit.
Preschool students should be picked up from the regular preschool pickup location either at the end of their class, or at your usual pickup time if it is later than the end of class.
We will escort your student to aftercare following their class if requested by parents.
Non-ILCA Student Drop off
Students should be dropped off at the Luther Hall/Gym entrance to the school (northwest corner of the building) where a staff member will check temperatures. Parents will not be permitted in the building after the first class day.
Health and Safety Guidelines
Both our school and fine arts academy are closely following the CDC Guidelines that are changing often. Cleaning will be done between each IFAA class. Supplies that cannot be easily cleaned will not be shared. Classrooms will all have Lysol, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer. The church/school has a disinfecting machine that will be used nightly.
Please talk with your children about physical distancing, hand washing, and basic hygiene to help keep us all as safe as possible. There will always be a risk of spreading the virus, but we are doing everything possible to keep students and staff safe.
All ILCA students are checked at drop-off each school day. Non-ILCA students will have their temperature checked at dropoff for their class/lesson. Students will not be allowed to attend if any of the following occurs:
- A temperature of 100.4°F or above.
- Signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as a cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and low-grade fever.
- In the previous 14 days has had contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19; is under investigation for COVID-19; or is ill with a respiratory illness.
- In the previous 14 days has travelled internationally.
Please help us keep our IFAA community safe and healthy!
Groups
Your child will be in the same class group all semester. We are blessed with large class spaces. Classes will be kept small and appropriately distanced.
