Friday, March 8: Annual Lutheran Schools Academic Bee

Our Annual Lutheran Schools Academic Bee is quickly approaching!  We will hold the Bee at ILCA on Friday, March 8.  K – 3 will have normal their normal schedule.  4th – 8th grade students will participate in the Bee.  HS students will help with scoring, timing, etc.  We have an Opening Ceremony at 9 am in the Sanctuary, and the rounds begin.  Once the last round is completed and scores tallied, then awards are announced and given again in the Sanctuary.  Parents, you are more than welcome to come watch your child(ren) perform in the rounds.  If you would like to volunteer to be a monitor (read the questions to the team), just reach out.  We’d love to have you.

MS students at Incredible Pizza.  We try to be back by 3 pm, but the time may vary depending on how many rounds there are as well as traffic on 71st Street.  Students will be able to eat from the buffet and be given a $5 game card.  Mrs. Horn, Mrs. Brock, Mrs. Moore, and I will oversee the fun.  $13.50 will be charged to your student(s) account along with bus transportation.  HS students will head to off-campus lunch. Upon return, they will clean/tidy up the classrooms.  Thank you, H
