The Wiggle Worms and The Jelly Beans

During the course of the school year, these children will turn 3 and begin preparing for the 3-year-old preschool classes. They are completing daily art, science, music, and Bible activities. They are learning to button and unbutton, complete specific physical movements, practice their fine motor skills and they are strongly focusing on potty training.  They participate in weekly chapel and have reading buddies with the church staff .

The ratio in these classrooms are 1:8.

This is the Wiggle Worms teacher:

Ms. MeghanMiss Meghan Blocher has been here since September 2010. She is here from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. She has her CDA and is currently going to school at Tulsa Community College for her Early Childhood Degree. She is also a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church.



IMG_9888Miss Keirden Blackwell is the afternoon teacher in the Wiggle Worms. She is here from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. She is a junior at Union High School and is Mrs. Stacy’s daughter. She works in her church nursery and loves working with children.

IMG_9874 Mrs. Betsy Fleming joined our team in January of 2014. For the past seven years she enjoyed teaching French to high school age students. It wasn’t until she became a mother three years ago that she really found her true joy; teaching children important life skills and sharing with them the love Christ has given to us. Both of her daughters attend ILCA Preschool. Mrs. Betsy and her family are members of Grace Lutheran Church.


IMG_9898Miss Corey Heim has been here since June of 2012. She is the afternoon teacher and is here from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. She began her freshman year at TCC in the Fall of 2013. She is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and participates in the teen youth group.
