  • School Musical – Dear Parents,I wanted to remind everyone that Monday starts our auditions for the school musical.  There is a sign up sheet in the office for the students to pick a time to come in after school, either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.  It will last about 15 minutes.  They will be in the music room.  I hope everyone will come and try out!  It is going to be a great school and lots of fun. Here are a few details about the time commitment for this show.1. Rehearsals will be after school.2. The students will only be called for rehearsal if we are working on their part.3. There will be a few big rehearsals with everyone.4. I will try to post on Friday what the calls are for the coming week. 5.5. I will also try my hardest to work around the other activities that are going on.  On the audition form it will ask for conflicts they may have.6. Dates for the show are: Dress Rehearsal:  April 25th,  Opening night: April 26th, and Sunday afternoon Matinee, April 28th.Mrs. Schultz_________________________________________________________________________

Dear Parents of Immanuel students and 2018 campers,

We at Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy have great and exciting things planned for this year’s Summer Day Camp Program.

The 2019 theme is “Jesus; the way, the truth, the life. John 14:6-7

As many of you know, I am serving the youth at Immanuel Lutheran Church as the Director of Youth Ministry.  As much as I love our summer day camp program, it has come time for me to pass the torch.  I am so excited to let you know that Mrs. Valerie Cobb will take over as the Director of the Summer Day Camp Program at ILCA this summer and will carry on with all of the fun and amazing things we all love!

“Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
~Proverbs 22:6

I still look forward to subbing when needed and helping out at camp.  After all, it is my favorite time of the year! Please find this summer’s information and registration form attached. Per usual, we are giving current students and past campers priority registration from now until February 28; on March 1 we will send out registration information to the general public and begin marketing.

Please feel free to contact Mrs. Cobb with any questions about camp.  Her email, listed above, is vcobb@icaba.org.

Have a blessed weekend and we look forward to continuing on with an amazing summer day camp program at Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy.

In Him and for the children,

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,  not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouragingone another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25
