Fourth Grade
Goals: Language Acquisition and Cultural Awareness
Objectives include: Familiarity of culture/customs of foreign countries in which the Spanish language and its dialects are spoken. Speak, read, and write various aspects of everyday life, including: colors, numbers, animals, foods, common greetings, short phrases, typical classroom/school information, family and home interactions, and spiritual/Biblical/church vocabulary and terms.

Fifth Grade
Goal: Language and Cultural Awareness
Objectives: Familiarity of culture/customs of foreign countries in which the Spanish language and its dialects are spoken. Speak, read, and write various aspects of everyday life, including: colors, numbers, animals, common greetings, short phrases, typical classroom/school information, foods, family and home interactions, days/dates, clothing, media, telling time, and spiritual/Biblical/church vocabulary and terms. Basic elements of grammar are introduced.

Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Grade
Goal: Language and cultural awareness and beginning conversational confidence.
Objectives: Familiarity of culture/customs of foreign countries in which the Spanish language and its dialects are spoken. Speak, read, and write various aspects of everyday life, including: colors, numbers, animals, common greetings, short phrases, typical classroom/school information, foods, family and home interactions, days/dates, clothing, media, telling time, and spiritual/Biblical/church vocabulary and terms. Basic and intermediate elements of grammar are introduced.
